One flock, one Shepherd.
John 10:14-17, I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.
We don’t much like the idea of being sheep, or being considered part of some herd. Thankfully He knows better, and He knows our ways, He remembers that we are dust, a vapor passing in the night. Like the Preacher says, no matter how long we live we will be dead a lot longer! In the large scheme of things, we know that it is ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Yet He has raised us up from the dead, and enabled us to hear His voice that we may follow Him. And still there are other seep that He is seeking to bring into His fold, and He allows us to participate!
Give us Your wonderful words of life for someone who is seeking You, Lord Jesus; enable them to hear Your voice!
