Free indeed.
John 8:34-36, Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
We are born slaves to sin, not through our own doing but because by one man sin came into the world and enslaved all sons and daughters of Adam. But God was not willing to abandon us to be slaves of sin, but sent us His only begotten Son that whosever believes in Him might not perish but have His new life! The living word, the Alpha and Omega, the Son of God has set us free from the power of sin and death once and for all on the cross. We are free indeed!
We rejoice in the everlasting freedom that comes to us from the Son!
