As little children.

Mark 10:13-16, And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

The disciples thought that these children had no business interrupting the “work” of Jesus, which they saw to be engaging adults in a logical, reasonable way by teaching or healing. Jesus saw each of these precious children for not only who they were at the moment, but who they would become. And He also honored the faith of the child as the gold standard for what it means to come to Jesus! It would be interesting to know how each of these infants fared in their lives having received His divine blessing. Do we come to Him expectantly has does a child?

Open our eyes to see with the wonder of a child all that You have to offer us, and to receive Your blessing!
