The light of the world.

John 8:12, Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Scripture begins with light, and without light, temporal life as we know it could never exist. Light pierces darkness instantly, the darkness must flee! And in the spiritual world, Jesus is the light that drives out the darkness and gives us new life. Are we staying in His light today?

We thank You that Your light pierces any darkness Lord Jesus!
