“Work the works of Him who sent me.”

John 9:4-5, “We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Jesus had a definite time of birth and of death and in between He fulfilled all that the Father had laid out for Him. And each of us has a definite time of birth, and a time that only the Father knows for our death. Are we appropriating the power that He gives us, letting our light so shine that men may see our good works and give glory to God?

Thank You for the power You give us to do Your good works, to let our light shine in doing good works in Your name!
