“The Father is in Me and I am in the Father.”

John 10:37-39, If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” Again they sought to arrest him, but he escaped from their hands.

Jesus clearly revealed His divinity by the miracles that He did, restoring sight to a man blind from birth, many healings and even raising the dead including Lazarus in the tomb three days. And He made this astonishing statement of His nature as God - man, the second Adam imbued with power from on high. These rulers clearly understood His claim by their desire to stone Him! He did exactly what He saw the Father was doing, and He has given us the Holy Spirit to accomplish what we can never do on our own. Are we depending on His power from on high?

We need You every hour, for on our own we can do nothing; with Your power all things are possible for Your kingdom!
