In love.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14, Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.
Jesus said that the meek will inherit the earth. Meek is not weak; meekness implies power under control. We are to be responsible; the Lord told Cain that sin was crouching at the door, desiring to consume him: “but you must rule over it.” We are to be alert, to stand on the rock that is our firm foundation, that will never be moved. And most of all we are to recognize that love goes on forever. Father, Son and Holy Spirit show us love eternal, love that conquers all. Are we doing everything in love?
Thank You for loving us enough to set Your face towards Jerusalem like a flint, to rescue us from the power of sin and death and for giving us the power for today!
