Why?
1 Corinthians 15:30, Why are we in danger every hour?
Paul confronts the false teachers, those who challenge the resurrection of Christ and those who trust in Him, with the reality of his own life. He was not some acclaimed dignitary, clothed in royal robes; he laid his life daily on the line for the good news of Jesus Christ. While we may not have such an extreme calling, we are called to bring glory to His name in thought, word and deed. I know that I have to depend upon Him for the wisdom and strength to do this. Am I asking Him for His strength and wisdom every day?
We thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning; pour out Your Spirit, fill me to overflow with Your strength and wisdom for today, O Lord!
