Unworthy.
1 Corinthians 15:9, For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
Paul knew better than anyone the depth of God’s amazing, scandalous, magnificent grace toward those who believe in Jesus Christ and are called according to His purpose. He was armed and dangerous, headed to round up more disciples of Christ when he was called to be an apostle by Jesus, the Lord of all. He has been made an example of the extravagant grace available to any who will hear His voice and come to Him, to believe in Him and to receive all that He offers! How many ways has He given me grace, forgiven my sins and empowered me by His Spirit?
We set our sails into the wind of Your Spirit, that we may bring glory to Your name as did Paul, O Lord!
