The one who prophecies.
1 Corinthians 14:4, On the other hand, the one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation.
Paul brings prophecy down to earth, for he views it as a normal result of pursuing love for others. It’s not some far-out prediction of future events, but lovingly building others up, encouraging them in times of success, and consoling when there are tough times. Does our love show itself in this way to seek the best for others in every situation?
