As He wills.
1 Corinthians 12:11, All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.
We have this same Spirit within us, given to us when we receive Christ. And He desires to manifest His gifts, as He wills, not by my will. For I already know that my will is rarely the best, as James says that we do not have because we do not ask; and when we do ask, we ask wrongly to spend it on our passions! I easily seek after my own selfish desires, what could happen if I ask the Holy Spirit to bring forth His gifts as He wills?
Bring forth Your gifts according to Your will by the power of Your Holy Spirit, O Lord!
