That I may share with them in its blessings.

1 Corinthians 9:22-23, To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.

Paul makes no pretense, he is willing to humble himself towards others that they might see Christ and know the good news He brings us all. He had many reasons to be proud of his heritage, his education and his own abilities, but he was willing to abandon it all for the sake of the gospel. What opportunities might we have if we had this same humility towards others to know the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Work in us and through us to have Your humility, Lord Jesus!
