Many adversaries.
1 Corinthians 16:8-9, But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
Isn’t it interesting that many adversaries almost seem to encourage Paul! His eyes are not on the adversaries, but on making effective use of the time that he has to take advantage of the wide door for effective work! How often are we distracted from effective work and wide doors by many adversaries?
Help us to keep the main thing the main thing; give us wisdom and guidance with adversaries, especially when doors are wide open for effective work!
