The image.
1 Corinthians 15:49, Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.
We did not ask to have the image of the man of dust, we were all born that way. And like a fish in water, we can’t know of our own volition what we are. But God was unwilling to abandon us to death, and took death to the cross! For He has provided Jesus Christ as the way, the truth and the life; He has opened our ears that we may hear and given us the gift of faith. What amazing grace! Have we recognized all that He has done for us?
We thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning, for Your faithfulness that has breathed life into us in Christ Jesus!
