Become a fool.
1 Corinthians 3:18-20, Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,” and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”
Even in this world, those who think they know it all are arrogant and likely will never discover anything new, because the think they already know it all. The mysteries of the natural world are astonishing in their complexity and engage some of the best minds in a lifetime of study only to realize that there are still more questions than answers. In becoming a fool, we humble ourselves before almighty God and ask Him for wisdom which He is always ready to give to those who ask! Are we seeking His wisdom and purpose, to bring glory to His name?
We humbly bow before Your throne of grace, thanking You for Your great mercy and seeking Your wisdom and purpose that we may bring glory to Your name, O Lord!
