Poured out.
Philippians 2:17-18, Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me.
We are not all called to be poured out as a drink offering as Paul was, and most of us find it far to easy to complain about things that he would not even find annoying! In fact, he rejoiced in his suffering because of the overriding call of the gospel, to know Christ in His rising and also in His suffering. Is this same joy within us, and does His light shine to those around us?
Give us more of Your joy, that others may come to know You, Lord!
