The wisdom from above.
James 3:17-18, But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
In our flesh, we can react as James says with “bitter jealousy and selfish ambition” to situations with other people. The ways of the world might seem easier, but they don’t produce anything good in the long run. Often we sow seeds of strife and then pray for crop failure! We have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit as our helper, and He is always willing to lead us in His way of peace. Are we willing to ask for His help and to seek His wisdom that is from above?
Let us sow your seeds of peace to produce a harvest of the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance!
