Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine.

Acts 9:15-16, But the Lord said to him, "Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name’s sake."

Ananias was understandably concerned about going to Saul, soon to be given the new name of Paul, for he had been severely treating those who proclaimed and followed Jesus. We see him transformed by the power of the living God from Saul the persecutor to Paul the evangelist. What surprising transformations might we see in our own world when God moves to accomplish His sovereign will?
