The foolishness of God.
1 Corinthians 1:21, Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
It shouldn’t be surprising that attitudes haven’t changed much towards God’s plan to save the world. He did not choose a plan that would appeal to the high and mighty or to those who claim to have great intelligence. His plan is offensive to our selfish nature, for our sinful nature wants to be glorified by some great achievement. Instead, He asks to come by faith in Jesus Christ, who went to the cross that we might live!
We boast not in ourselves, but in our Lord Jesus Christ alone.
