Rejoice!

Philippians 4:4-7, Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your forbearing spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

No doubt, we live in troublesome times. Paul’s exhortation is as fresh today as it was then, to recognize that the Lord is not very far from every one of us. That our anxiety is really worthless in view of His amazing grace, and that we have a God who is always ready to hear our requests. Let us accept His divine peace, that passes all understanding!
