In everything you were enriched in Him.

1 Corinthians 1:4-8, I thank my God always concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, that in everything you were enriched in Him, in all speech and all knowledge, even as the testimony concerning Christ was confirmed in you, so that you are not lacking in any gift, awaiting eagerly the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall also confirm you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is just as true for us as for those in Corinth who first received this letter, for according to Peter, His gifts are for all of His children, both near and far. We are not lacking in any gift, and He gives His good gifts to accomplish His purposes through us. We may at times forget that we have this access, and indeed there is an enemy that encourages us to forget or deem ourselves unworthy. What could happen today when we receive His good gifts and use them to bring glory to His name?

We thank You that You have enriched us in all speech and all knowledge by the power of Your Holy Spirit; help us to be bold in using Your good gifts today!
