Be imitators of me.
1 Corinthians 4:16, I exhort you therefore, be imitators of me.
Paul's picture of the life of the apostles is one of hardship, deprivation, mistreatment and slander. Clearly, he had his eyes upon a goal set in eternity, a vision of what lies ahead. And so, he encouraged these believers to imitate him. Do we have a vision this clear and are we living today in such a way that we could tell others to imitate us?
Open our eyes to Your reality, to eternal life, that we may clearly see Your priorities, that we might be an encouragement to others.
