Light.

John 12:37, And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.”

Jesus makes it very clear that He is identified and one with the Father who sent Him. And we can know the Father by seeing Jesus, what He has done and all that He will do. There is little doubt that there is a lot of darkness in this world. The good news is that when the light come in, the darkness must flee! Are we bringing His light into every dark place?

Keep us walking in the light of Your gospel that we may bring it into every dark place, O Lord!
