Many good works from the Father.

John 10:31-33, The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?” The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.”

There is no doubt about Jesus’ own claim to divinity. What is sad is that these who had seen His miracles and been with Him could not recognize Him. And what is amazing is that those who are called are able to recognize Him, for we have His promise that all that no one is able to snatch from His hand all that the Father has given Him! What greater joy can we have in knowing He will carry us through?

We celebrate all that You have done for us and all that You are going to do; use us to bring the light of Your gospel by Your good works into this world today!
