Hosanna!

Matthew 21:14-16, And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them. But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant, and they said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, “ ‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise’?”

Jesus tells elsewhere, that unless we become like little children we cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven. He tells us that His Father has hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children. The prophet tells us that all we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. The wise and understanding leaders of His day don’t like this any more than those captivated by the wisdom of the world today. Are we able to join the children who cried out to Him “Hosanna to the Son of David?”

We thank You that You have called and we have heard Your voice that we may join with our own cry of Hosanna to You!
