Not all things build up.
1 Corinthians 10:23-24, “All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.
We have amazing freedom in the amazing grace of God offered to us by the cross. And we are encouraged by many places in scripture to consider all that we do and say, especially as it is perceived by others whose faith is weaker than our own. Christ shed his own glory and to humble himself to live as one of us, to walk the way of the cross. Are we willing to consider others better than ourselves in seeking their own good first, that they may be built up?
Open our eyes as to how we should live so that others may know your way and be built up in their walk with you!
