How, he himself does not know.

Mark 4:26-29, And He was saying, “The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil; and goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts up and grows—how, he himself does not know. The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head. But when the crop permits, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

This is an exciting concept, to see the word as seed. We get to be involved in different phases of His kingdom, sometimes we are planting seed. We don’t even have to know how that seed works, something that is amazingly complex yet so ordinary. And in the right soil, that seed can grow and ripen, and sometimes we even get to be involved in the harvest for His glory.

Thank You that we get to be a part of Your amazing plans, to sow seed and sometimes to harvest!
