He had healed many.

Mark 3:9-10, And He told His disciples that a boat should stand ready for Him because of the multitude, in order that they might not crowd Him; for He had healed many, with the result that all those who had afflictions pressed about Him in order to touch Him.

We can only imagine this amazing scene that Mark describes, it must have been electric for the multitudes to press in just to touch Him, to be healed. Even John writes that there was so much more that He did that could have been written. And despite all this His way was the way of the cross. Those who were healed ultimately died; those whom He died for will live forever!

We give thanks that You have done so much more for us through the cross, that we will be with You for all eternity!
