Lukewarm.
Revelation 3:14, "'So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.'"
While it’s true that Jesus was addressing a church, this disturbing message still comes through to me. Our pastor was recently asking how many of us really take our faith as seriously as did the apostle Paul, training as if for a race. I know that while I am not the same as Paul, I could benefit from turning up the heat and training as if I were an athlete!
Help me be an overcomer; give me the joy in You that overflows that others may see Your love in me!
