Having become a curse for us.
Galatians 3:13-14, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE” — in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
What blessings we have access to in Christ Jesus. Every other religion has requirements, just as the Law had, a kind of stairway to heaven. Only in Christ are we secure, for He has taken the hit for all who will come to Him in faith. And we have the amazing gift of His Holy Spirit right now!
We come to you by faith and receive your promises; not only eternal life, but Your Spirit right now!
