He who once persecuted us.

Galatians 1:22-24, And I was still unknown by sight to the churches of Judea which were in Christ; but only, they kept hearing, “He who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith which he once tried to destroy.” And they were glorifying God because of me.

What amazing grace, not only from the Lord in His personal revelation to Paul, but in the early believers. They were willing to recognize his faith as genuine and to accept him giving glory to God. Are we as ready to accept those who are called out of darkness into His great light today?

Give us this grace, to accept those whom You call and give You all the glory.
