Report to them what great things the Lord has done for you.

Mark 5:17-19, And they began to entreat Him to depart from their region. And as He was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed was entreating Him that he might accompany Him. And He did not let him, but He said to him, “Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you.”

It’s not clear why the people wanted Jesus to leave after the demon possessed man was healed. Jesus didn’t argue with them, but even so He provided them with a witness as to all that had happened. Do I really appreciate all the great things that the Lord has done for me, and am I willing to tell others?

Bring to my mind all that You have done; give me the boldness “to make know with boldness” the mystery of Your gospel!
