And the brethren.
Acts 28:15, And the brethren, when they heard about us, came from there as far as the Market of Appius and Three Inns to meet us; and when Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage.
It seems that Paul would be the one person never in need of being encouraged, especially after all the encouragement he had just given to his shipwrecked companions. It is, perhaps, one of the simplest things that we can offer those who are in ministry. The attacks that they endure can come from many different directions; we can help them by giving them the simple gift of encouragement. It might be as simple as a smile, or a hand on the shoulder, or simply telling them how much they are appreciated. Why not look for ways to encourage those who encourage us?
Dear Father, Open my eyes to opportunities to encourages others, to build up Your kingdom!
