Remain in the ship.
Acts 27:31, Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, “Unless these men remain in the ship, you yourselves cannot be saved.”
Isn’t it interesting that the Centurion took orders from Paul, in keeping all on board who were to be saved and in seeing that they ate so as to have the physical strength for the trial they were about to endure. They clearly knew that they could not save themselves because of the incredible force of nature; they put their lives into his hands in order to be saved. We are sometimes storm tossed, yet we know that we are with the one captain who can see us through, no matter how rough the storm. We have put all our trust in Him who controls the wind and the waves!
We thank You for Your incredible peace that comes amidst even the worst storm, that You keep us in perfect peace as we stay our minds upon you, O Lord!
