A blameless conscience.

Acts 24:16, "In view of this, I also do my best to maintain always a blameless conscience both before God and before men."

Paul clearly knew that he was being falsely accused. He also knew that he had acted properly in bringing his offering into the temple according to the scrupulous customs of his own Pharisaic education. He did this not as a matter of faith, but as a matter of honor to those whom he was trying to reach. Are we really that careful to respect and honor others that we might win the right to love them with the love of Jesus Christ?

Guide me in having a blameless conscience before God and men that I might demonstrate Your love to one of Your own!
