"The will of the Lord be done!"

Acts 21:14, And since he would not be persuaded, we fell silent, remarking, "The will of the Lord be done!"

Paul was clearly set towards certain persecution and ultimately martyrdom by going to Jerusalem. He had clearly gotten this direction from the Holy Spirit. It seems that we are more like those along the way, for they tried to dissuade Paul! The wisdom of the world says that we are to survive at all costs; the wisdom of God is to follow Him. Are we really focused on His will, or are we focused on the ways of the world?
