Examine yourselves!

2 Corinthians 13:4-5, For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, yet we shall live with Him because of the power of God directed toward you. Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?

Like Paul, I know that I do not do the things I want to do. I frequently fail to demonstrate His love to others. Yet I know by faith He lives within me, and I know that faith without love nothing. I know that He lives within me by faith; and we know that He loved us because He laid down His life for us; He was buried; He was raised and He ascended where He sits at the right hand of the Father and intercedes for us!

There is no other name but the name of Jesus; I need Your strength today, thank You that You live within me, O Lord. Remind me to examine myself, to be quick to listen and slow to speak.
