This Moses whom they disowned.

Acts 7:35, "This Moses whom they disowned, saying, ‘WHO MADE YOU A RULER AND A JUDGE?’ is the one whom God sent to be both a ruler and a deliverer with the help of the angel who appeared to him in the thorn bush."

Isaiah said it best, "All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way." Even God’s chosen people, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob initially disowned and later disobeyed Moses and the law of God. We are in dire straits without His amazing grace; fortunately for us, He pursues those He loves and never lets us go! Stephen shows us this type of Christ in the rejection of Moses by those whom he was sent to delilver. It’s no surprise that the world still rejects Jesus and those who love Him!
