Be imitators.

1 Corinthians 11:1, Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.

We all imitate someone, and there are others imitating us; this is a challenge! Paul says this in confidence, as he was encouraging the believers in Corinth to be faithful to the order ordained by God in Christ and through scripture. Later, he reminds us to consider others in everything we do, and to take stock of our own situation. This past weekend, we heard a talk by one of the Astronauts; he has developed a habit of simply looking at the past ten minutes and evaluating whether or not the time was well spent. What might happen if we check to see if we are imitating Jesus?
