His Spirit who indwells you.

Romans 8:10-11, And if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you.

On our own, we are dead, lifeless, minds set on the flesh. He has given us this marvelous gift of faith, His new life and best of all His Holy Spirit within us. As we draw nearer to Him, coming into His light, He shows us those areas where we still have our minds set on the flesh and gives us the opportunity to be confess our sins and to be cleansed and healed. Are we setting our minds on the flesh or on the things of the Spirit? I know that I am weak but He is strong.

Help me, Lord; it is so easy for me to be distracted by fleshly desires; I want to draw nearer to You, to take captive every thought by the power of Your Holy Spirit!
