1 Corinthians 12:11, But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

A gift is something that is given, not something that is taken. And Paul makes it very clear that these good gifts that come through one Spirit are given for a reason: “the common good.” The disciples hands were used to distribute the bread that came from Jesus breaking five loaves for five thousand, and seven for the seven thousand. Are we expecting to be blessed by a gift, or are we seeking Him ready to distribute the gifts He has given us to bless others?
