Hebrews 12:3, For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.

It’s easy to get discouraged when we see the increasing levels of attacks on godly principles, morals and virtue by our culture. None of us can imagine the raw hostility that Jesus endured as He walked to the cross, and as He hung there until He gave up His spirit. We have the good news in scripture, that God is indeed in control and that He is working and moving in His plans which are higher than any earthly plans. And best of all He has given us His Holy Spirit to help us in our time of need!

We need Your Holy Spirit today, that we may not grow weary and lose heart, O Lord!
