Something better for us.

Hebrews 11:39-40, And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

Even in this amazing passage, the annals of faith, there are no easy answers. Certainly this world is amazing in so many ways, there is breathtaking beauty in a drop of water, a seed, a mountain meadow or a sunset. Yet we know beyond doubt that this world is not our home, and that He has prepared an eternity of “something better for us.” Right now, we walk by faith and not by sight; what makes our journey to that place even more exciting and meaningful is those will come with us!

We thank You for Your marvelous gifts, especially the gift of faith that makes us whole in Your sight, heirs to Your new heavens and new earth!
