Hebrews 9:26b-28, but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

We have this marvelous gift, the good news of Jesus Christ, which the world is so quick to reject. That doesn’t mean that we have to give up on them, but that we continue to pray for them and hope to bring the light of Christ that they might see the “hope that is within us.” He can indeed open blind eyes and unstop deaf ears, and we are to be about our Father’s business until He comes.

As we expectantly wait Your coming, remind us daily of those who You are calling to know Your incredible good news! Help us to be faithful in what You call us to do!
