Do your work heartily, as for the Lord.
Colossians 3:23-24, Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.
It’s hard to keep this perspective in our day to day activities. I was talking to a friend a few days ago who is frustrated with his job, thinking that he could be doing something better. It might just be that God has us in a position to do something that no one else can do, to reach one person that no one else can reach. Are we willing to serve Him where we are?
Open our eyes to Your possibilities right where we are, Lord Jesus.
