That first convenant.

Hebrews 8:7, For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion sought for a second.

We can certainly give thanks for His new covenant, based completely on His perfect sacrifice. He has given us the opportunity to have His law into our minds and write them on our hearts. We can come into worship knowing that our high priest is seated at the right hand of the living God, as the perfect prophet, priest and king of all creation. And He wants us to know Him, to have a relationship with Him.

We give You glory and honor for all You have done for us, for all You are going to do. Give us Your wisdom for today, O Lord.
