Through love serve one another.
Galatians 5:13-15, For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” But if you bite and devour one another, take care lest you be consumed by one another.
We have this incredible freedom, for it is Christ who has set us free from the power of sin and death. Even when we stumble and fall, we know that He does not reject us, and always stands ready to hear our confession of sins and to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us. Apparently the Galatians had a problem in their church with gossip and making malicious comments about others not present; imagine that! We are all too easily caught up in such gossip, sometimes even disguised as a prayer request. Perhaps we take a few moments to think about what we are saying, and perhaps even pray about it, we can build each other up and server each other?
We want to love as You love, to build each other up in the faith, O Lord!
