Strangers and exiles on earth.

Hebrews 11:13-14, All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own.

I think we can all relate to this idea, that we are indeed “strangers and exiles on the earth.” A quick look at the nightly news should provide enough evidence of that! And yet He makes it clear that we are here because “all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” What an exciting prospect, to discover and develop according to His purpose!
