Teach us to number our days.

Psalm 90:10-12, As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, or if due to strength, eighty years, yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for soon it is gone and we fly away. Who understands the power of Thine anger, and Thy fury, according to the fear that is due Thee? So teach us to number our days, that we may present to Thee a heart of wisdom.

Scripture tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. We know that we are saved by His grace, through faith, and that this is His gift to us. He wants us to be faithful as stewards with all that He entrusts to us, every day being a divine gift. What will we do with this day?

Give us wisdom, open our eyes to Your possibilities for this day that we may bring glory to Your Holy name, O Lord.
