Yet now there is hope for Israel in spite of this.

Ezra 10:2b, "We have been unfaithful to our God, and have married foreign women from the peoples of the land; yet now there is hope for Israel in spite of this."

This passage tells of a heavy price to be paid for unfaithfulness. We can give thanks that we know the One who has paid the price for our own unfaithfulness!

Let our faithfulness to You demonstrate our thankfulness, O Lord!
